Hold Cottage - a luxury country getaway

Located on Gunning’s main street & sitting high up on the hill with views across the village, Hold Cottage is a 1910, double red brick home that has been lovingly restored & offers complete comfort & luxury for a relaxing country getaway. OUR SPACE HAS BEEN DESIGNED AND CURATED FOR GUESTS WHO ARE IN NEED OF A GENTLE AND SLOW STAY. THE COTTAGE IS BEST SUITED TO ADULTS. The space The interior is light filled with high pressed ceilings and double hung windows filling each space with beautiful, natural light. The fully equipped kitchen, which includes a microwave, stove top, oven and full size fridge makes it easy for you to create beautiful home cooked meals while you stay. Also supplied is a Nespresso machine, real teapots with loose-leaf tea and a welcome hamper full of local produce, wine and condiments. All our beds are fitted with MicroCloud quilts and pillows and made with linen sheets and quilt covers. The updated bathroom comes with a shower/bath, large vanity area, towels and eco friendly hand and body wash as well as shampoo and conditioner. The cottage is fitted with ducted heating and cooling and an open fireplace for the cooler months. Grab one of our linen or woollen throws and curl up on the oversized couch and watch a movie on the smart TV with Netflix and enjoy free Wi-Fi. Or if you want to keep it a TV free zone, check out our selection of board games, books and magazines. The large back yard is perfect for a game of backyard cricket while the large covered verandah with BBQ and table setting, is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxing! Or take it to the backyard to our beautiful outdoor space and dine under the festoon lighting and toast some marshmallows over the fire pit in winter. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer or you’ll find a good old hills hoist in the back yard. Please note: this is a 100+ year old home and comes with the beauty of age!
