Guest access The Loft Studio is on the 1st floor of the annex building. Access is via a rain safe staircase. Parking is available in the shared driveway. There is a beautiful 4km coastal pathway in front of the house, known as the Vermont Trail. Lavender Cottage is situated roughly in its middle. Walking on the trail, you'll pass milkwoods, tidal pools and quiet beaches, and might spot a few whales along the way. Other things to note Need more space? Our cottage next door is available that will accommodate an additional 8 people. (Max 4 adults and 4 children) Ask us for availability upon booking. Hermanus is considered a safe tourist destination and usually trouble free, however petty crime does exist. Visitors are advised to take certain basic safety precautions for themselves as well as for their personal belongings: Don't walk alone at night or along the cliff path after dark. Care should be taken with valuables when visiting crowded areas such as flea markets - keep your belongings close and your bags closed. At your accommodation use the safe provided or insure that your room is locked before departing for the day.
