The Stable and Undercroft each have a private front door, and internal locking doors through to the shared laundry area and information section off the linking corridor. The space Accommodation The Stable has a fully fitted kitchen, shower room and living/sleeping area. Own private entrance and allocated parking, also an outside seating area with additional access to the shared orchard garden. Location The Stable is 2.5 miles from Wastwater, voted England's favourite view, and 5.5 miles from Wasdale Head and the start of the climb up to Scafell Pike. The area is renowned for leisure activities including walking, hiking, climbing, canoeing and kayaking, diving, fishing, and horse riding. Local Amenities The Stable is located in the tranquil, sought after hamlet of Santon Bridge within the Lake District National Park and beside the River Irt. Santon Bridge comprises of a scatter of houses, a tea room and gift shop and a village hall. Just around the corner is The Bridge Inn, which serves fine food with a varied menu and caters for take away meals. They also have several cask ales on tap. Both The Stables and The Undercroft are situated on the ground floor and can be occupied individually or both together for a joint party.
