The space Podere Grignano is a typical Tuscan medieval farm, beautifully and strategically situated in the heart of Tuscany between the famous medieval cities of San Gimignano and Volterra. The farm's principal crops are olive trees and a vineyard with own production and direct selling. The panoramic view is amazing over the Tuscan hills. Historically Podere Grignano was part of Borgo Pignano which is now a luxury hotel which won the prestigious 2018 Condé Nast Johansens Excellence Award as “Best Countryside Hotel” in Europe and the Mediterranean. This partly because of it´s beautiful surroundings. You can stay in the same surroundings at a fraction of the cost at Podere Grignano and enjoy more tranquility and serenity! Only a few cars a day pass the land road over the property, which makes it great for people that love tranquillity and nature. The luxurious holiday homes that are constructed in the old haymow, offer a very comfortable stay. Both bedrooms have airconditioning and there is a washing machine. Famous cities like Siena, Florence and Pisa are only at 42, 72 and 76 kilometers distance. Even though Podere Grignano is set in the beautiful Tuscan country there are a few very good restaurants nearby: Restaurant "il Boschetto" is about a 10 minute drive and offers excellent Italian and typical Tuscan dishes for reasonable prices, restaurant "Osteria il Cipresso" is about 15 minutes drive and offers also great Italian and Tuscan dishes at good prices. Closer by you have the high end restaurant in Borgo Pignano which is only a 5 minutes drive. For more than 2 persons there is a surcharge of €15 per person per night.
