Award winning property on Skye. Altarf is a unique bespoke, Tiny home situated in the Township of Blackpark in the village of Broadford, on The Isle of Skye. With hill views to the south and east, and local amenities, bars, restaurants and supermarket a short walk away, it makes the ideal base from where to plan your excursions around the island, or to simply relax for a few days. The space Adults only property, suited to couples, solo travellers and/or those that don’t mind sharing one bed, this bespoke architect-designed, award winning micro home boasts an open plan lounge and kitchenette, beautifully clad in Baltic birch plywood throughout, offering a wonderful warm and welcoming feel to a unique space. In addition, the neat dining area and well equipped kitchenette allow self-catering opportunities, with twin hob, microwave oven with grill. A wood burning stove compliments the living space for those cosy nights in. Step up from the living space into the WC fitted with a large shower space. The cosy sleeping space is equipped with a comfortable hand-crafted (UK) kingsize bed. The outside decking area to the front, equipped with patio furniture gives the option to sit and relax in the morning or evening sun, and soak up the views, with the sound of the river not far away. There is only one "Altarf" - this building is absolutely unique, and we hope you'll love it as much as we do! Guest access The entire space is accessible to guests. Two persons maximum. Other things to note The property is a Tinyhouse although it has a footprint of ~30sq/m, so is considerably larger than many listed in this category. Space is limited for storage of large suitcases, so please kindly bare this in mind. There is no TV in the accommodation, so if you’re a TV addict then it may not be for you. There is a steep embankment to the front of the building, for safety reasons it is advisable to stay clear of this area, and for this reason it is why we have a strictly NO children in the property policy. The Wi-Fi can vary in strength, so please don't expect a perfect connection all of the time.
