North Downs Cabin with Hot Tub - Dog friendly

Welcome to Howe Court Accommodation. Self catering one bedroom Log Cabin with its own private hot tub in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the foot of the North Downs in Kent. The Cabin has its own entrance and private garden. It is ideal for walking, biking, visiting local attractions or a romantic break. We cater for guests looking for a relaxing night away. We are not a party venue. Music must be kept at a very low level at all times. The space An opportunity to get away from it all and stay in a detached log cabin with hot tub in a rural location. We offer self-catering accommodation in a log cabin, built in the grounds of our 16th century home, with views of The North Downs in Thurnham, Kent. The Cabin (23ft by 10ft) has been decorated and fitted out with a contemporary look and offers electric heating . The bedroom has a comfortable double bed, with an en-suite shower room. There is a TV in the bedroom. We provide toiletries, hairdryer, and a couple of robes with matching slippers. If you want to prepare your own meals, there’s an oven, microwave and hob. A gazebo covers the hot tub during the winter months unless high winds are forecast. Weather permitting, you will be able to sit out on your own private veranda that overlooks the North Downs and dine alfresco. There is a barbecue and firepit, Shed to w house any bikes you might decide to bring. Outside covered sitting area with a table and chairs. Sunl oungers We can advise you on local walks and cycle routes, even those including our wonderful local pubs! This area is steeped in history so you might perhaps choose to visit nearby Leeds Castle and find out why Henry VIII stayed there. The shops are 2 miles away. If you are looking for a tranquil, rural retreat, set at the end of a bridleway and surrounded by fields, why not use The Cabin as a base? Whatever your individual requirements – whether it be walking, biking or a romantic break - we will ensure a tailored approach to your stay, in a clean and well-maintained environment. Also provided: DVD player, electric kettle, toaster, small fridge freezer, boot warmer, ordnance survey maps, bed linen and towels included, battery operated torch, fold-away dining table, chairs and coffee table, scrabble and cards. Bearsted is only a 10 minute drive with access to London or the coast. The euro tunnel is approximately 35 minutes away by car. Other things to note No wifi due to location -guests tend to tether off their phones A gazebo covers the hot tub in winter, unless high winds are forecast. The Cabin is reached by a restricted use-age road / bridleway therefore please drive carefully. May not be suitable for low suspension cars, please ask for further details Sensible footwear and a torch is recommended (especially in the winter) as the cabin is reached along a grassy track with limited lighting. House Rules No smoking in the cabin or on the veranda. Pets are not allowed on the furniture and must not be left unsupervised We are dog friendly. Please advise in advance.
