Cottage in the City - traditional mews house
Description
This traditional mews house is very close to Princes St and the West End -8 minutes walk to Princes St -Very close to many attractions -Lots of independent cafes, bars, coffee shops and restaurants nearby -Traditional Edinburgh mews house -Very quiet house tucked away from traffic - New shower room and freshly painted -Complimentary tea/coffee facilities in room The space ** (This property is fully approved and licensed by Edinburgh Council- L/no EH-60014-F )** This house is a quiet and convenient base away from for all the busy-ness of Edinburgh city and yet within walking distance from it. It is in its own quiet community, tucked away behind the large house of Belgrave Crescent and Buckingham Terrace. Belgrave Crescent Lane is like a small village lane within the city. This room is ideal for people who might want to stay a little longer in the city and have a comfy secure base to come home to. However. As this is a small house and also where I work from - this is NOT a good option for any guest who likes to stay all day in the room and has little interest in seeing the city. I work normal business hours and my office is right next to the Airbnb bedroom. We are within walking distance of most of Edinburgh's city centre attractions but also on many bus routes. Guest access You will have a double bedroom with a King size bed with professionally laundered linens and towel. There is also a shower room and loo adjacent to the bedroom. There are complimentary tea / coffee making facilities in the room. If you require something more substantial for breakfast, there are many good cafes and restaurants nearby. During your stay I would be delighted to help you with directions and also things to do and see while you are visiting. Other things to note This lane is one of the best traditional mews lanes in Edinburgh. Traditionally a mews lane is where the horses and carriages were kept and the workers lived above the stables. Nowadays it is a little village in the city with a close community. The houses are traditionally small but you will be experiencing a slice of history in the centre of the city.
