Our treehouses are located on private land within the national park, along the peaceful mountain. We have multiple treehouses in the area, each offering a unique and unforgettable experience. The Red River Gorge is laced with trails, including the 260-mile Sheltowee Trace, offering something for everyone. With its soaring cliffs and majestic arches, the Red River Gorge is a paradise for rock climbers and outdoor enthusiasts. Welcome to our treehouse in the forest! We have a private parking area located down below the treehouse, which you are welcome to use. However, because the area is a bit steep and uneven (about 100 yards), we also have a drop-off area that offers easier access for carrying your bags and groceries. Simply follow the gravel road and you will see the unloading area on the left. It is a short, flat walk over to the treehouse. The fire pit is only 20 yards away. Please note that you will need to bring your own firewood (which can be purchased along Nada Tunnel Road) and lighter fluid. The ground around the fire pit is somewhat uneven, as you are in a forest, but it is well-maintained. The charcoal grill is located next to the fire pit. Welcome to our treehouse in the National Forest! Our location offers access to beautiful hiking trails, but please be advised that some trails and steps may be uneven, steep, and slippery at times. To access the loft, where you will find a double mattress and small sitting area, you will need to climb a ladder. You can park at the bottom of the property, but be aware that it is a short hike up to the treehouse. The road to the unloading area is gravel and steep, but cars can make it up. Our treehouse can accommodate up to four guests with a double mattress in the loft and a queen-sized air mattress in the main area. Please note that you will need to bring your own firewood, charcoal, and lighter fluid for the fire pit and grill. Before your check-in, you will receive detailed information about the property and the surrounding area. Please keep in mind that the treehouse is located in the National Forest and, as such, you may encounter friendly bugs. This is a unique, natural experience, not a resort.
