The green bedroom, whilst not having a private bathroom, has a stunning view over the swimming pool, the garden and the ancient river valley where the Charolais cows graze and in summer cool themselves by standing in the clear waters of the spring fed pond. The queen sized, hand-made mahogany four poster bed is dressed in a stunning green silk moiré. Antique bed covers and crisp, white bedlinen, mattress toppers as well as winter and summer duvets make it perfect for a wonderful night’s sleep. The space We are an ancient mediaeval fortified house with a stone spiral staircase that, in the 14th Century became a Priory. This beautiful building oozes history and was lovingly restored to a very high standard some years ago. Lovers of historical buildings will find the Priory, with its many historical features, fascinating. Due to the thickness of our ancient stone walls, access to WiFi is limited in some parts of the house.
