Desa Eko - Mountain view tent

The tents at Desa Eko are large canvas tents built on raised wooden platforms with an incredible jungle view and the sounds of the river below. Each tent holds a double bed and has electrical outlets for charging. Your stay also includes a locker with your own key, fresh towels, a hot outdoor shower, and complimentary breakfast in the morning The space Desa Eko is an Eco focused project nestled in the mountains near Munduk. It stemmed from the love for the simple, healthy lifestyle and spiritual culture found there and grew from the perceived need of travelers who are looking for more authentic experiences in a sea of overly touristy offerings. The property covers a lush coffee and clove plantation with an open farm for exploring and learning about local plants. The Botanist restaurant uses fresh farm produce for a garden-to-table menu, using what we grow in our permaculture gardens and recycling and minimizing our waste. We also offer a meditation space at the base of our valley beside a small river and a trail that takes you directly to a beautiful waterfall hike (10 min walk next to the river - and no charge!). Our wish for your stay is that you reconnect with humanity, nature, and yourself through intentional community space and experiences. Guest access You have full access to our land, which leads directly to the famous waterfall trek. The farmland and paths weaving down to the yoga deck by the river have signposts labeling all varieties of plants so that you can learn about the local flora. We offer a variety of guided tours, including trekking, learning about medicinal plants, healing with the local priest, and Balinese cooking classes.
