Our location is about a 15-20 minute drive to most spa city attractions. We hope your time at Lake Daze will be enjoyable. It is our pleasure to ready the space for each guest. Unfortunately, with the increasing occurrence of cleaning supplies and items taken, we feel we need to be clear on what is Lake Daze Property. Please feel free to use anything at condo during your stay. Please be mindful that if you did not bring an item to Lake Daze - it is not to be removed from the property. Please leave it at Lake Daze when you return home. Additional charges will occur for missing items - including cleaning supplies, games, decor, bedding and linens (seriously) - We have elected to keep our prices lower so that our guests’ stays are affordable-guests can help us continue to keep our prices low by not removing items that are Lake Daze Property. We cannot keep the price low when high-cost items are taken. This statement is not for magazines or books :) Sometimes a good read lakeside is just what is needed and if you start one of our books we want you to be able to finish—just take one - not all - so the next guest can enjoy. If you want to add to the collection-you are welcome to also! It is not our intention to offend-just to be transparent with expectations. This unit is a ground level condo in a two story multi unit complex and was completely renovated (2019) to be comfortable and convenient for its visitors. Newly Painted interior January 2023 The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essential equipment (cookware, plates, bowls, silverware, tumblers, various spices). We have a wine warmer/ cooler - Keurig coffee pot and generous supply of K pods are provided. Lake Daze does not have a tub - shower only The unit is small - temperatures are controlled with a heating and air unit similar to what you would have in a hotel room. The bed is a comfortable queen. Dresser in bedroom has USB ports for your phone chargers with option for accent lighting. (button is by USB port) The bathroom has soft bath towels. We supply a hair dryer and a first aid kit (for the overly adventurous). Iron and table top ironing board are available. Beach towels are also supplied. 55 inch SMART TV for you to access your personal Netflix, VUDU, CRACKLE and Amazon Prime accounts. VIZIO WATCHFREE is also available if you prefer. We've added board games and playing cards as well as a 2 person hammock that's easy to set up and break back down when you are ready. Baggo game for your competitive side :) THIS IS A NONSMOKING UNIT- smoking is permitted outside in the common area which is a short distance from the patio and available to all guests/ owners who smoke. Please note ****even if guests have a medical marijuana card - - smoking of any kind is not allowed inside the condo. Storage of marijuana in the unit is also not allowed — additional cleaning fees will be applied if not adhered to. Depending on your provider, mobile phone service may be intermittent in the area. Simply enable wifi calling on your phone and you should be good to go. The common area also has charcoal grills. We have added Coleman propane grill to the patio. When the common area is busy, the smell of smoke may be present. We have added an air purifier to help minimize smoke when present. It also helps those sensitive to airborne allergens. The purifier can be adjusted by guests. 2 beach chairs and 2 folding camping chairs are available for your use if you want to move off the patio and enjoy sitting lakeside. Guest access Picnic tables and Charcoal grills are just a step away from the patio in the common area. Please feel free to acquaint yourself with the kitchen area - pots and pans are lower left cabinets with baking pans. Silverware, cooking utensils, and dishcloths are in the drawers of the island/ bar. Tumblers are in cabinet to upper left of sink - dishes, cups, bowls, etc are located in center cabinet. There are 2 cabinets above microwave, 2 cabinets to lower left of sink and 2 directly under the stove that have been secured for host use only. I have a small fishing pole and a few lures in the unit for your convenience but please keep in mind, an Arkansas Fishing License is required to fish on Lake Hamilton. Our POA is very strict with parking - please park in our assigned spot. Under no circumstances can boat trailers be parked inside the gates. Our small lot cannot accommodate these. Nearby are places such as Gideon's and Lela's Landing that provide boat launch areas, boat slips, etc. Other things to note This condo is away from the hustle and bustle of the city - but also away from some of the conveniences city living offers. If you are looking to be to the downtown area or other attractions in less than 15 minutes - Lake Daze would not be your ideal choice. However, Lake Daze is the PERFECT choice for a get away with lake views literally right out the back door and reasonable travel time to enjoy the city :) It is right at 15 minutes to the downtown area if you take the CedarGlades Road route - ~ 20 minutes if you go the 270 west area route. Our rates are comparable with rates within the same complex - when we purchased this unit - we placed the value on the location which is steps from the water’s edge. We still enjoy walks downtown- but travel time to get there is about 20 minutes. Also - this condo is small. The space is not suitable for additional guests, children, or multiple pets. This condo is best suited for 2 guests - please be aware that an additional $100 will be added for any unregistered guests. The pros of ground floor access with this condo is that you can walk right out the back door to the lake. It's easier loading and unloading and was our preference for our stays. We hope you would enjoy those conveniences as well. This is a multi unit, two story complex - so it will be much like staying in a hotel or apartment with guests above you. The units to the north and south are occupied by owners. We have stayed at the condo multiple times and it has never been an issue for us. We want to be totally transparent with our guests—this is not a secluded cabin on the lake —it is a wonderful setting in a condo complex that we enjoy staying at and sharing with others. Please keep these considerations in mind as we always strive for our guests to be very satisfied with their stays - and we will work hard on the factors we can control to make this happen. Guests may want to consider stopping at a grocery store prior to arriving at condo - Harps is conveniently located on your way in and is less than 5 miles from the condo. We typically leave a few water bottles in the fridge and a basket of grab and go type of snacks. The kitchen area is well stocked with spices and supplies - so just bring whatever you feel like cooking :) Please be confident of your planned vacation dates. We have a strict cancellation policy that is not unlike many hotels and other lodging companies. Revision of dates is considered with availability of dates - however, an additional $25 fee can be charged for revisions. Thank you for your understanding.
