A large family home overlooking beautiful Carmel Valley with funky vibes & amazing views. We are empty nesters living on the main floor leaving the private downstairs to our guests. 12 mi to beach, 4 mi to hiking, and 1 mi to village & tasting rooms. We also have two additional listings, The Sun Room and The Cozy Room so you can book up to 8 people very comfortably. So Sorry -we cannot accommodate kids under the age of 12 or pets. 1 bedroom 1 full bath. Very comfortable queen bed. Bathroom is shared with room adjacent. There is also an overflow bathroom downstairs to avoid traffic jams. The lavender is a great room for sleeping as it is sequestered in the southwestern corner of the house. We also put a twin bed in the room, so it can accommodates 3. This is a wonderful place to relax and chill out. We have many different sitting areas around the outside of the home, all with beautiful views of the property. We enjoy sunshine 325 days out of the calendar year...:) Continental Breakfast available every morning upstairs. 3 minute drive to Carmel Valley Village with restaurants and tasting rooms. 5 minute drive to Holman Ranch 7 minute drive to Garland Park with beautiful hiking. 26 minute drive to Carmel Beach. 26 minute drive to Downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea. 60 minute drive to Big Sur. 25 minute drive to historic Fisherman's Warf and Del Monte Shopping Center. 25 minute drive to Pebble Beach. 15 minutes to Laguna Seca. Private entrance around both sides of the home or guests are welcome to use the front door. Additionally, you may enter the private entrance from the lawn and "the point" areas. (on the other side of the home) Brenda and Bill are more than happy to guide you to the best restaurants, tasting rooms, and sightseeing as well as answer any other questions you may have. We are flexible hosts. Should you care to get to know if other, groovy. If you prefer to hang by yourselves, that's cool as well. We live above Carmel Valley Village about 1000ft. We do have neighbors that are aware that we Airbnb and their fine with it. We just ask to please don't knock on their doors getting instructions. We send a welcome letter that gives both Bill and I's phone numbers. Just call, and we will guide you. There are no street lights, so if you can arrive during daylight hours, you'll be happy you did. Our Village is an up and coming wine and wedding destination. We also have the Big Sur coast that provides beauty and hiking. We do have Ubers now. But Ubering up here and being without a car, not such a good idea. Unless you want to walk up and down the hill. If you attending a wedding, sometimes Bill or I can drop and pick up, but that isn't set in stone. We do have jobs that we periodically have to show up for. :) It doesn't hurt to ask us once your here. Chaparral Road is a windy paved road to the top of our hill. Please be careful when driving up or down. Parking is available at the bottom of our driveway, please park in the gravel area. We do have a cat that is 18 years old lives upstairs away from the guest areas.
