Bellinger River Retreat - River Cottage

Built 2008, this self contained cottage with a fantastic view of the Bellinger River was renovated late 2013 and furnished with a combination of modern and federation/art deco furniture. Relax in the midst of natural beauty. Half an hour from Bello. The space Open your eyes in the morning to a stunning view of the Bellinger river and National Park beyond. With air conditioning, polished hardwood floors, luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, an eclectic mix of quality antique and modern furniture, a covered verandah with comfy seating and a view of the river, this free standing self contained cottage offers a beautiful and peaceful place to relax, get close to nature, and soak up the vibrant mix of old time and alternative cultures for which the region is renowned. Guest access I have 5 acres and you are welcome to stroll around the grounds. My main boundary fronts the Bellinger River. There's a short mowed path down to the river from the cottage and idyllic swimmings spots with a curtain of rainforest on the other side of the river. Platypus can be spotted in the early morning. There are horses and sheep to pat and feed on neighbouring properties. There is an orchard of citrus trees and a vegetable garden available to guests when in season. Other things to note There is no mobile phone coverage on the property but Internet Wi Fi access is available inside the cottage. It is equidistant from Bellingen and Dorrigo - about half an hour's drive along picturesque Waterfall Way and Darkwood Road. Registration details PID-STRA-68088
