Short walk to Pollan Beach. All major bus routes stop directly outside house & connect to Republic + N.Ireland. 5 comfortable private rooms available to book, with a lock and private key. Guest access Guests have access to the double bedroom, the bathroom/toilet and a private sitting room with satellite television. Single travellers must take the single room, unless otherwise agreed. During your stay If i am around, I am happy to sit and chat or drop guests to the local tourist sites with my car. Having had many years in the service/retail Industry I am an outgoing person at the best of times but I adapt well to all individuals and personalities. I love airbnb and have only had positive experiences to date, I have had guests stay with me that are corporate guests who just want a quiet overnight stay before work the following morning as well as some avid trekkers who are travelling europe, and chose my space to regenerate themselves for more sightseeing for the following days. Where possible I always endeavor to greet you in the morning for your self service breakfast unfortunately due to many guests itineraries I cannot always bide you farewell. I spend a lot of time at my home through work so Im almost always at hand to help you with any questions should they arise. Other things to note There is a first aid box at the hallway on the second floor. There are takeaway menus in the kitchen area, and a fish and chip shop next door, should you wish to watch a movie in TV room with a pizza slice. The house has smoke alarms in designated spots The house is secured by a 24 hour immediate response security company. Now is the perfect time to take the opportunity to relax and recharge with a short break on the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal on the North Coast of Ireland. Inishowen has it all – from wild, romantic coastlines to beautiful woodland and rivers; from stunning award-winning beaches to fabulous food; from quality accommodation to a fantastic range of activities and attractions. See a different North West Coast in Winter – still beautiful, but a wilder beauty than that of summer. Wrap up warm and feel the bracing sea air or watch the waves crashing on the beaches. The gem waiting to be discovered in this beautiful area is Ballyliffin. Ballyliffin is a delightful village, with a fine long golden sandy beach at Pollan that stretches to over two miles in length. Crockaughrim presents a rewarding climb and there are examples of primative rock art at the western slope, which dates from the Bronze Age. Ballyliffin is home to the Ballyliffin Golf Club, Ireland's most northerly club, and a gem of a destination for the visiting golfer. There are two outstanding and contrasting 18 hole championship golf courses to choose from. The Old Links and the Glashedy Links. Both courses offer a round of golf, amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland and attract golfers from all over the world. Doagh visitor's centre is an outdoor museum tells the story of life in this area in the 1970's going back to the famine in the 1840's. During the months of November and December the village becomes Lapland with Santa arriving down the chimney. Ballyliffin is the best place to base yourself as you visit some of Ulsters finest tourist attractions like the Giants causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, or the vast Glenveagh national park So if you want to get away from everything and completely relax, why not indulge yourself and visit the unforgettable peninsula of Inishowen and the beautiful village of Ballyliffin.
