Nice room in amazing luxury home near DOWNTOWN+UBC

The space Nice, bright, spacious room with private ensuite bathroom, overlooking the quiet back garden. It has a comfy queen size bed, a roomy built-in closet, a big table to eat or work on, a chest of drawers, 2 night stands, and your own microwave in the room ...... coffee machine + hot water kettle upon request, as well as iron + ironing board. Of course we have wifi for you to use with your own computer included in the rent. It is most suitable for 1 clean, considerate adult, or for 2 people, sharing the queen size bed. For short periods of time (just a few days), we can also accommodate a family with a baby / toddler / small child. For a third adult or an older child, we might be able to put a single mattress on the floor temporarily. The house is located in a safe, quiet, green, upscale area of Vancouver ..... easy walking distance to the SKYTRAIN STATION ..... CANADA LINE, and only 7 minutes drive or by skytrain to DOWNTOWN, 15 minute to the airport CAMBIE VILLAGE / KING EDWARD MALL / QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK / BLOEDEL CONSERVATORY / VAN DUSEN BOTANICAL GARDEN / OAKRIDGE SHOPPING CENTRE … all can be reached within a 5-15 minute walk. Other attractions are very accessible by skytrain, bus, or car. We are only 15 minutes away from the AIRPORT by direct skytrain connection, car, or taxi. There is FREE, EASY PARKING available right in front of the house. That way, you can have your questions answered faster and more easily and directly. Guest access Guests will have a microwave oven / coffee maker / electric hot water kettle in their own room, and in addition to our own kitchen, there is also a second, fully equipped kitchen just for guests in the house. All guests are welcome to use it without any restrictions ….. other than common courtesy, i.e. leaving things clean for the next person, and not making too much noise in case anybody is sleeping in the suite ….. ( given our proximity to different major hospitals, we often have doctors + other medical professionals staying with us, and occasionally they might need to sleep during the day after a long night of being on call). We have 2 laundry areas in the house ..... so doing the laundry is also easy. For short-term guests we even provide the laundry soap, as well as other amenities + conveniences like soap + shampoo, coffee + tea (and sometimes a light breakfast .... time permitting, but no promises …. basically this is self-catered accommodation, and you will have your own shelf in the fridge + in the kitchen for storing your food), hair dryer, iron + ironing board, cable TV in some rooms, use of guest phone for local calls (free), or long distance calls (5-50 cents per minute, depending what country the call is going to + whether it is to a land line or a cell phone) ..... basically whatever the phone company charges. We allow use of the phone on the honor system. There is FREE STREET PARKING for guests right in front of our house. If somebody drives to Vancouver with the intention of leaving their car at the long-term airport parking lot, because they are planning to spend a week or two in the sun ......flying to Hawaii, Mexico, Australia, the Cook Islands, or to any other exciting destination, they can save a lot of money by leaving their car in front of our house + taking the direct Skytrain ….. CANADA LINE …. that goes directly to the airport. Plus, it is probably a lot safer …… as cars in long-term parking lots at the airport tend to be broken into on a regular basis.
