Set on 10 acres, Ethereal Pastures is a small hobby farm with a few sheep, a cow, and a few chickens. If you love fishing bring your own fishing gear. The Stuart Murray channel is 80m from the accommodation and frequently rewards keen fisherpersons with Murray Cod, Redfin, YellowBelly, and the highly sought after Murray Cray. Artists also love the scenery and set up their easels on the channel bank. Located 5.5km south of Murchison, 13km north of Nagambie, and 13km east of Rushworth, there is an abundance of things to do and see including sampling local wineries, visiting the historic township of Rushworth, or exploring all that the Goulburn Valley has to offer. Kids love the mooving art in the cow statues that are located all around the Goulburn Valley. Shrek cow, Spiderman cow, and Mermaid cow are among favourites. The border town of Echuca is a leisurely hour's drive offering Paddle Steamer cruises and historic sites visit. There a market within 30 minutes drive every weekend... Nagambie, Avenel, the renowned VioletTown market, Shepparton, Gigarre etc. Guest access Everything in the unit. An outside laundry which includes an additional shower and toilet can be made available for guests upon request. Note that this area is shared with hosts. Washer and Dryer can be used by guests by prior arrangement. Fees apply. Other things to note A gas-bottle Patio Heater is available for use especially in the evenings if sitting outside. A gas barbecue is also available. NO SMOKING is permitted inside of the accommodation (including the use of vapour inhalation products). If you do smoke outside, your cigarette butts must be put out properly and must NOT be thrown on the ground but disposed of properly. There is a swing set and trampoline for children play on. Children must supervised at all times. All machinery, equipment, livestock water troughs, and plants (flowering and fruit/ vegetable bearing) are not for guest use. This is a working/ producing property.
