The Micro - A Wee House with BIG style

We are nestled in between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake to quickly begin your adventures. This Micro House will be like sleeping in a clubhouse when you were a kid - if you hadn't then you should try it! We value alternative housing options so if you do as well, or just want to experience living tiny then the Micro is for you! Permit # STR-200226 The space We first became interested after the Tiny House was featured in a Christmas special on FYI's Tiny House Nation in 2015. We became enthralled at these dwellings and knew this would be our next project. It is small - hence the name: the Micro. This is a tiny space. It is 230 sqft on the lower level and about 96 sqft in the loft. If you need a large space to roam, the Micro will not offer that. If you are not partial to climbing, there is a ladder to the sleeping area, so if that is something that is of a concern, then the Micro is not for you. If you want some "alone" time, away from your partner, the Micro will not be able to accommodate your needs However, if you want to stay at the only THOW in the Adirondack/ Lake Placid region then the Micro IS for you. Guest access The property is shared with our other rental, however the space and the Micro's part of the grounds are private. There is a BBQ and a fire pit. There is outdoor seating for lounging and dining. Other things to note We do not allow pets at this rental, however if you are traveling with pets we do offer two other properties that do welcome guests traveling with pets. You will be charged a 150$ fee for any uninvited pets. Please note that bath towels and bed sheets are not provided with this rental, however we do offer that service for a small fee (30$/stay). At this time we do not support charging of EVs at this location.
