Welcome to Falcon Crest! Our home has a beautiful and cozy Tahoe cabin vibe with a wood burning stove and wooden beams along the ceiling. We are only 1/2 mile from the golf course, pub and recreation center. A large family can easily fit, one bedroom has a king bed, one has a queen bed and a third bedroom with a triple bunk bed. The house has a well stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs and a beautiful backyard for lounging about. Come and enjoy all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The space If you book in the winter, please keep in mind we have no control over mother nature. Some years there isn't much snow and some years, it covers the entire first floor. Our driveway is steep and can be icy so you will need 4WD and/or chains. We have a snow plow service for the driveway but depending on the storm, you may need to shovel lots of snow to get access to the garage and spa. When you rent the home, you have access for 4 to the Tahoe Donner Recreation Center and pool and other Tahoe Donner Homeowner Association amenities (most still have an additional fee). 2026 Short-Term Tenant Card Restrictions Short-Term Tenant Cards are welcome at the private amenities approximately 332 days a year. To prioritize member access during the holidays, Short-Term Tenant Card access will be blacked out on the following dates: Jan 17-19 (MLK Day) Feb 14-16 (President’s Day) May 23-25 (Memorial Day) July 1-5 (July 4th) Sept 5-7 (Labor Day) Nov 26-29 (Thanksgiving Day) Dec 24-Jan 3, 2027 (Christmas/New Year’s holiday) Private Amenities: Trout Creek Recreation Center (year-round) Beach Club Marina (Seasonal) Tennis + Pickleball Center (Seasonal) Northwoods Pool (Seasonal) Short-Term Tenant Cards are not required for public amenities. Short-Term Tenants are always welcome at the public amenities. Public rates apply. Daily Access Rates apply for private amenities. We live in a high fire danger area. Please review the evacuation routes in the blue binder so you can be prepared. There is a wood and charcoal ban starting June 1. Use of our propane grill is prohibited during red flag fire conditions. Other things to note We allow up to 8 people total (including kids) but prefer to limit adults to 6 per stay. The Town of Truckee is adopting an ordinance, effective January 1, 2021, that requires us to have someone on standby to respond to any noise or other nuisance complaint within 60 minutes of being notified. If we, or our agent, are required to respond, whatever fees and costs associated with that response will be charged to the guests.
