The old Barnaut hostel 2-4 pers

The old hostel (De oude herberg). The house is in the hamlet "Barnaut" (part of Marly-sous-Issy) This house is a former auberge/stagecoach stop with a typical Burgundian look and dates back to around 1700. The space La vieille auberge (The old inn). The cozy house is located in the hamlet "Barnaut" (part of Marly-sous-Issy) which consists of 2 houses. A beautiful auberge and a beautifully restored (inhabited) watermill from the 15th century. This house is a former auberge/stagecoach stop with a typical Burgundian look and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the middle of the hilly meadows on 1 hectare of land and consists of a restored house with some outbuildings, such as a large authentic former cowshed (not yet passable) and a former stagecoach horse stable (in restoration) but with lockable space for e.g. bicycles. Guest access You have access to the ground floor, the wine cellar and the barn where the stove wood is stored. The attic area is not accessible. Other things to note Staying in Burgundy should be considerate of cold and harsh winters. In particular, the old houses are not all optimally isolated as we are used to. However, with the wood-burning stoves present, the kitchen-living room and the living room can be heated pleasantly. In storms and/or thunderstorms it is possible that the power goes out or the dish antenna no longer emits a signal. Overall this is short-lived nuisance and inconvenience.
