The space Fox Cottage is situated on a 4,100HA station who farm sheep, cattle, deer and cropping. Fox Cottage is a new, 4 bedroom home at the start of the Fox Peak Ski Field Road. There are numerous walks or bike tracks available from the house or around the Fairlie township. Fox Cottage is a perfect location for those who are looking for a quiet holiday and who wish to experience life in rural New Zealand. Access to the farm farm tracks and sheds is permitted as we would love for you to come and enjoy the beautiful landscape that we have in Fairlie. Guest access Fox Cottage is completely separate from any other houses on the property therefore guests will be ensured a peaceful and tranquil stay. There is plenty of parking and room for boat trailers or horse floats. There is a 2 bay garage available for use during the winter months. Fox Cottage is on a shingle road therefore guests are advised to take precautions when driving, particularly during winter months. Other things to note All beds are brand new and are fitted with electric blankets. There are full cooking facilities in the house as well as a BBQ and outdoor seating area. No smoking is allowed in the house. Please be aware that Fox Cottage is 22km from the nearest town and supermarket therefore we advise that you bring enough food and supplies for at least your first evening and breakfast.
