Deception Pass Retreat

The Retreat is a beautiful cabin on 10 wooded acres with expansive views of the Straits of Juan de Fuca, the Olympics, Pass Lake, and Naked Man Valley. We adjoin Deception Pass Park and are just up the road from Morris Graves' old place, The Rock. We live on a secluded, gravel road (in very good shape) that winds uphill through tall cedars and firs for about a mile. We are 3-5 minutes from all the Park entrances and 15 minutes from Anacortes town or the San Juan Islands ferries. The space A living room/kitchenette/dining area comprises the main room of the cabin, with sliding glass doors that open to a deck with a view to the west, and, on the other side of the room, sliding wood doors that open to the bedroom. PLEASE NOTE: the kitchen is a KITCHENETTE, not a full kitchen. It does NOT include a stovetop, or hot plate, or conventional oven. It has pretty much everything else, though: a small refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot water pot, cutting board, salad bowl and tongs, microwave bowl, and all the utensils, plates, bowls, etc. that you should need. The futon couch in the main room folds out to a double bed futon. The bedroom is behind solid sliding doors, for privacy, and has a queen bed. Bathroom has a tub/shower. The covered carport is attached. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the guest house and complete privacy. Our main house is separate, and about 70 feet away. Other things to note Discounts - We only offer rentals for 30 days or more, with a rate greatly discounted from the short term rates we used to have. Our lowest rate is now our only rate, with a 30 day minimum stay. No other discounts are available. No pets allowed except trained service animals.
