The Casa degli Abati is part of our family home. In the heart of the historic center, in the beating heart of Malcesine, the Casa degli Abati overlooks the ancient square of Porto Vecchio and its restaurants on one side, and the family garden and vegetable garden on the other. Its 38 sqm terrace, for the exclusive use of our guests, overlooks the lake. The 200-square-meter house has been renovated while maintaining the style and furnishings of the time and is under the protection of the Fine Arts. The space The House of the Abbots is the house of our Ancestors. It is an exclusive place, which has always remained private and which we wish to share with our welcome guests. The Casa degli Abati is located in the heart of the historic center of Malcesine, in a pedestrian area. As soon as you cross the threshold of the house, you will find yourself in the large ENTRANCE for the exclusive use of our guests, separated from the rest of the apartment by 4 easy steps. In the Casa degli Abati you will find a large, beautiful and functional KITCHEN that is habitable and equipped with a table for 6 people. 3 BEDROOMS: The double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two beds and a sink in the room. The third bedroom with two beds and a sink in the room. There are 3 BATHROOMS in total (1 very large bathroom is also suitable for people with reduced mobility). The large and bright LIVING ROOM with armchairs and sofa, the table for 6, and the LARGE TERRACE with an incredible view of the lake. All rooms have Wi-Fi coverage. ATTENTION: THE HOUSE DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING! In addition, a large storage/garage room will be at your disposal for any sports equipment such as bicycles, canoes, surfboards (no motors) located on the side of the house, under the responsibility of the Guests with a key. Guest access Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed in person by one of us! If you arrive by car and have a lot of luggage, please let us know so that we can arrange (when possible) for the luggage to be transported by Apecar to the entrance of the house. For our guests, there is the possibility of taking advantage of a 50% discount on the cost of parking in Paina (7-minute walk) for 1 car. IMPORTANT: Accommodation tax: for stays in Malcesine, the tax to be paid is 2 euros per person/night (children under 14 years of age are free). We will request it from you upon your departure and pay it to the Municipality of Malcesine. Please pay in cash. Other things to note A little HISTORY Our Palazzo has been cared for by five generations in the various architectural and landscape stages as described by the Fine Arts of Verona. Once, the village was animated by carriages, wagons and horses that entered through the coachman's door. Now, in the very lively open space, restaurants have sprung up that offer a convenient service to those who want to dine and at the same time feel at home. The pavement is still medieval and comfortable shoes are recommended.
