Our home is low down in the beautiful village of Es Grau, very close to the beach only a few mins walk, great views, restaurants & dining. Es Grau is an unspoilt Spanish fishing village, Its great for couples, solo adventurers, and ideal for families with children. You are 10mins drive from the Capital of Mahon which has it all. The house has A/C, wifi, Smart TV & has been completely renovated. The beach is shallow very safe for children. holidayhomeinesgraucom The space We as a family find the Menorca/Es Grau holiday very easy and relaxing, the flight from the UK is short only 1 hr 50 minutes, you arrive then in Mahon airport which is only 15 minutes from Es Grau so if you collect your hire car or grab a taxi you know very soon your holiday starts with no hassle. Es Grau is ideal for families, the bay is perfect for swimming and paddling with small children as the sea is shallow and warm for a long way out, the beach is just a few minutes walk from our house. Es Grau is a small unspoilt fishing village, there are three restaurants and one bar. The village has a very unspoilt Spanish feel to it. The village has a kayak and mountain bike hire shop which offer great tours also. There is a local shop for all your groceries & alcohol less than 1 minute from the house. There is an uninhabited Island 10 minutes away which can be reached by boat, the island has idilic beaches and is a must see. There is a local who runs a boat taxi to the island. Es Grau is great for walking and hiking, there is a nature reserve that backs onto the beach, this is a popular walking spot and a must for wildlife enthusiasts, this is a protected biosphere area. There is a water sports hire place on Es Grau beach. Mahon the capital is 10 minutes drive away which has an amazing port and super yachts, the port has an array of fantastic bars and restaurants and lovely for an evening stroll. Mahon is also great for shopping with local markets also. The house is spacious, modern and was fully renovated in 2013, it has modern amenities with everything you need. There is a garage included with the house. Menorca is a one hour drive from one end to another, the island has amazing beaches and places to to visit. The old capital Ciutadella has lots of history and another port so well worth a visit. Guest access The whole house and garage (the garage conversion room if required will need to booked separately from the main house) We have our own parking space at the back of the house. For wheelchair access, the back entrance through the garage is a level access option, this entrance gives access to the ground floor only, here you have the family bathroom, bedroom 2 & 3, the kitchen, the living room and ground floor terrace. For your convenience included in the house are, Baby cot, high chair, car seat (on request) stair gate and back pack for those long walks with infants.
