Close 2 bus, tube & rail links, shops, cinemas, cafes, pubs & restaurants. You have access 2 the garden. Share bathroom with one other person (me). The room itself, being at the back of the property is quiet and peaceful and if privacy is what you want, this is relatively easy because the flat divides into upstairs and downstairs. I only sleep downstairs and use the bathroom. The rest of the time I'm upstairs which you will only use coming in and going out. The space I guess the traditional London architecture along with my own aesthetic is what makes my place unique - and its location. I haven't tried to be neutral or beige and I posted plenty of pictures which illustrate this much better than words can. Guest access bathroom garden and for a stay longer than 5 days we can DISCUSS limited use of my kitchen. During your stay As much or as little as they like. I understand that some guests need to do their own thing and I will hardly see them during their stay. I have many interests and practically everything I need is in my studio or the garden. However, I have lived here 32 years (in 2015) and am more than happy to help with directions, suggestions or to listen to their adventures. I also appreciate any tips on how I can improve my guests' experience of staying here. I love my neighbourhood. Other things to note The £45 rate is for ONE person and for every extra person it is an additional £45. There is a microwave, a fridge, toaster, kettle and cafetiere as well as wiifi; cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and glasses; a litre of bottled water is provided at the start of your stay. I don't put perishable food as I have an (almost) pathological hatred of waste but I am happy to provide things like milk, bread and butter (at no extra charge) if a guest lets me know their breakfast preferences 48 hours in advance. My street stands between Upper Street and Essex Road which converge at Islington Green - 10 minutes walk away. There's a theatre pub on Highbury Corner, (the Hen & Chickens), another one in St John Street (the Red Lion) and on Upper Street (5-10 minutes walk away) the famous Kings Head which hosts live music on a tiny stage, every night from 10 pm and a tiny theatre in the back. The legendary Almeida Theatre is just off Upper St. The Sadlers Wells Dance Theatre is 20 minutes walk away. Other music venues close by are the O2 at the Angel Centre, the Union Chapel and the Garage.
