Ivy Cottage - Boutique Cotswolds Getaway

Ivy Cottage is a striking two bedroom cottage with a private garden located in the heart of the pretty village of Long Compton. It was transformed from a humble chocolate box cottage into an uber cool escape with exposed wood, cleverly placed mirrors, contemporary furniture and bespoke touches set over two floors. As a result you’ll discover, this is one of the most interesting and luxurious boltholes for a holiday in the Cotswolds. The space A carefully curated space that has maximised the cottage’s beautiful classic features and local honey-coloured stone, Ivy Cottage is seemingly modest on the outside, yet beyond the entrance door you’ll discover an opulent open-plan dining and kitchen area to the right and a sumptuous and spacious living room to the left. An open-tread wooden staircase sits in the middle of the house and leads you upstairs to two elegant en suite King Size bedrooms, one with copper bath tub. The master bedroom has a super king size bed and a copper bath in the room as well as an en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom also has an en-suite shower room, and both have been built with beautiful attention to detail, as well as offering fluffy bathrobes and fine bed linens added to make your stay all the more decadent. Guest access Guests have use of the whole cottage. Other things to note Hive heating control, fibre broadband, strictly no smoking and unfortunately not suitable for a wheelchair. Unfortunately we don’t provide a cot or a highchair but the master bedroom can easily accommodate a travel cot. Check in is at 4.00pm and check out is at 10.00am. We are happy for you to bring a small/medium sized dog to the property at an extra charge of £40. We do ask that dogs do not go on the furniture or upstairs in the properties and any dog mess left in the outside areas are cleared up. Please note that outside areas are not fenced for dogs. Ivy Cottage comes with off street parking for 1 car. The Cotswolds village of Long Compton is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Discover thatched cottages, a medieval church, and quaint lanes leading to rolling hills. Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Chipping Norton are all within easy reach. If travelling by train, the nearest railway is Moreton-in-Marsh which is just a nine minute taxi away or Banbury which is forty-six minutes away by bus. Ivy Cottage is approximately an hour and forty minutes away from London via car and we provide detailed driving directions upon booking. There is off-street parking available for one car.
