Dramatic skies + panoramic views - no neighbors! Best Infinity hot tub in Scotland, fantastic wifi, underfloor heating, fabulous kitchen, workspaces, huge studio, snug/media room, great tech, bespoke lighting + fittings, luxury X-large beds +bathrooms, our eco-luxury lodge is a rare highland haven. The space This airy, elegant, light-filled house was designed by an award-winning architect. Each room yields mountain and sea panoramas across to Skye and as far north as the Hebrides. Enjoy the mod cons - fast wifi, heated natural stone or wood underfoot, workspaces, temperature controlled rooms and a kitchen with all the gizmos from Nespresso machines to Nutrimixes to breadbaking gear. Curl up in a window seat or a leather sofa by the fire. Savour the northern lights in winter from the triple-glazed Nordan windows or the infinity hot tub, or the stunning, late-night sunsets in summer. (All bedrooms have black-out blinds). People love to gather in the horseshoe bar area in the large open plan kitchen (which was equipped by a Michelin Star chef.) Groups sometimes convert one of the large spaces into a yoga, dance space or special ceremony space. The dining room, with its vaulting skylights and views, flows into the window-walled lower floor sitting room, which opens to the more intimate media room and snug. There are three en suite kingsize bedrooms up stairs, along with a twin, and an en suite kingsize bedroom downstairs, along with an annexe appartment with a vast twin and a queen upstairs. Unit 2, Eagle Nest, has its own entrance and balconies. It's a good spot for young families or elders in family groups to be self contained. If it's outside weather, there is both a gas bbq and coal/wood weber, a huge firepit with seating and incredible views, a choice of outside seating areas, and a games box. Play croquet across the sea from the Cullin. THere are binoculars on hand to watch the dolphins and occasional Minky whales. Inside, there is a large smart TV in the library (although people are usually too busy enjoying the ever changing drama outside!), bespoke fittings and fixtures. There is a general feel of low-key comfort and elegance. People feel at home here: The house was designed to be able to fit around its users....we often find the rocking chairs have been moved to different spots or we reveive photos of how people have decorated the giant ironwood table for a special occasion. Guest access You have exclusive use of the house and hot-tub. Owner in a separate dwelling behind the house, at some distance. Other things to note Applecross really is a destination holiday or retreat space - there are no taxis and the nearest train station is 40 mins away. The award-winning Applecross Inn and pub is 15 minutes walk away, and the ancient and beautiful Walled Garden Cafe (both Michelin-Recommended) is 25 minutes walk or a five minute drive. Tesco and majestic deliver to the door, you can arrange seafood deliveries (if the weather is ok from the owner) and our local shop is happy to source local groceries for you. There are stunning local walks (lots of maps and guides in the house), local kayaking, guided botanical walks, tartan and wool workshops and more. Registration Details 545628668
