This idyllic property is the perfect place to slow down, relax and experience a beautiful bush setting alongside abundant wildlife. A place for families to spend quality time outdoors and reconnect with nature, and a dog’s paradise. Enjoy our massive dam and 80 secluded acres of rolling hills that backs onto magnificent state forest. The house is clean and comfortable with a fireplace, air-con and verandah on 3 sides. The space The house This comfortable home includes a wood fireplace, air conditioning, wifi, smart TV and a verandah on 3 sides. There is 4 bedrooms, a large open plan living area, 1 bathroom and 1 toilet plus an outhouse. The kitchen includes an electric stovetop and oven, microwave, nespresso coffee machine and everything else you would need. There is a brand new washing machine and a dryer in the laundry which guests are free to use. We have a portacot, high chair and pram to accommodate little ones. The house is not 5 star, but everything works, is very clean, the beds are comfy, and the setting is amazing. The property 40 acres of fields and 40 acres of Aussie bush, with State Forest on the southern boundary. The property boasts breathtaking views of the huge dam backing onto state forest. Every evening guests are treated to a sunset performance by the 100's of cockatoos and other birds as they congregate around the dam and sing the day away. In the evening and early morning you can spot kangaroos grazing on the hill. There is a canoe, kayak and row boat that can be used for exploring the main dam, which is also perfect for stand-up paddle boarding and swimming. We have a floating pontoon that is perfect for floating picnics and lounging in the sun. You can help yourself to any produce on the fruit trees surrounding the house. We accept pets on a case by case basis. If you wish to bring along a furry friend please outline this including the type of pet in your message to us. We charge a flat $25 additional cleaning fee for pets, which is charged when you add the pet to your booking. Please feel free to ask us any questions you have. Guest access You will have access to the entire 80 acres of the property. You will have access to all areas of the house except for one bedroom. Other things to note There is limited mobile phone reception on the property, however we have wifi which can be used to make calls. Certain services will get reception from the house. We charge a flat $25 additional cleaning fee for pets, which is charged when you add the pet to your booking. Please note the fences on the border of the property won’t keep dogs contained. The house is fairly far from the edge of the property, but dogs need to be kept under control so they don’t stray onto neighbouring properties which have livestock. There is an area on the verandah thats gated (around 1m high), but there’s not anywhere you can leave dogs if you want to leave the property without them. We have security cameras on the driveway, main dam and entrance of the house to prevent marron poaching and ensure the property is secure when vacant. Registration Details STRA6251K2AQTO5Q
