Hurricane Helene update: We are fortunate that our property is higher up and did not flood. Thanks to the hard work of many people, all utilities have been restored at the cabin. Our town is in recovery. The space Goldfinch Cabin is perched up on a hill adjacent to Pisgah National Forest and a convenient 10 minute walk to downtown Hot Springs. With 3 bedrooms, it's an ideal accommodation for those traveling with friends or family. BEDROOM 1 The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, dressers, Smart TV with Roku, and blackout curtains for a good night's rest. BEDROOM 2 The second bedroom has a single bed and a double bed, TV, and reading/game nook. BEDROOM 3 The third bedroom has a queen bed and a desk and can serve as a great location for remote workers if not in use for sleeping. KITCHENETTE, DINING, AND GRILL Goldfinch cabin has a a well-stocked kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a microwave, mini-fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster oven, InstantPot, and all basic plates, cups, bowls etc. Dining table seats 4, with additional bar-style stool seating for 4 directly adjacent. If outdoor grilling is more your style, head out to the porch and cook up some burgers and veggies on the charcoal grill! The porch is great for relaxing and listening to the songbirds with a hot cup of coffee as well. APPALACHIAN TRAIL Goldfinch Cabin offers incredible access to the Southern trailhead of the Appalachian Trail which is located literally 100 steps from the front door. Head left to hike down into town, or right to head up on your trail adventure, immediately leaving town behind and surrounding yourself with nature. AIR CONDITIONING AND HEAT The cabin has heating and air conditioning to keep you comfortable in all seasons. WIFI Strong WiFi is available throughout the cabin. Guest access Guests have sole access to all photographed and mentioned spaces. Other things to note Goldfinch Cabin is adjacent to another rental cabin and shares an interior wall. Each cabin has its own separate private parking and separate private entrance. The shared interior wall is built double thickness (8 inches thick) with 7 inches of soundproofing insulation and a layer of foam board to provide excellent privacy.
