This is Osaka. From here it takes 15 minutes to Osaka by train and 50 minutes to Kyoto. This is an old style typical Japanese house. You can see courtyard from this private room. 6 min walk from the Train station, 11 min walk from the Subway station. The location is quiet residential area. To Umeda(Osaka) 15 min by train, To Namba 22 min by subway. To Kyoto 50 min by train. We have a cheaper room. Tatami room on second floor. The space The guest house has 2 private rooms, 1 female Dormitory and 1 male Dormitory. It has shared 2 toilets, 1 shower room, a Lounge and a Kitchen. There is free high speed Wi-Fi. There are free drinks (e.g. coffee, tea, the Japanese green tea), and seasoning and the kitchen utensil are prepared, too. After check-in; The entrance is a number lock, no curfew. This is a traditional Japanese room (washitsu) with a courtyard that has a tokonoma, (Place of the decoration), yukimi-shoji (a Japanese windows that slides up and down and right and left) and ranma (a decoration between rooms that also ventilates the room). The room has air conditioning. You can set the temperature (warm or cool)in the room. Tourist tax (accommodation tax): 100 yen (including cleaning fee) from 7,000 yen to 14,999 yen per person per night in Osaka Prefecture, 200 yen from 15,000 yen to 19,999 yen per night. Please pay the host upon check-in. The host pays taxes to the government. Guest access 24 hours : Your room, shared 2 toilets and a shower room 6:30 am to 11 pm : A Lounge and a Kitchen. 7:30 am to 10 pm : Use Washing machine. Other things to note For a house of Japan, there is no key for the room but we have lockers in lounge (key provided). In addition, soundproofing is not enough, too. There is no bathtub only in a shower but there is a public bath on foot to 8 minutes. We are sorry. We cannot accept under 12 years old, because the guesthouse has shared toilets, a shower, a kitchen and a lounge. Rules Check-out: Until 10:00. After check-out, you will not be able to use the entire building, including the common areas. Kitchen/Common Area Hours: 6:30AM - 11PM Please be quiet after 11PM out of respect for the other guests and our neighbors. The last person leaving the room should close the windows, turn off the air conditioner and lights. Please wash the dishes after you've finished eating. Please write your name on any items you place in the fridge. Smoking is not allowed inside the guesthouse, however, you may smoke at outside smoking place.
