Artist Rural Retreat - Grandma's Attic

This is a single room, upstairs on a working farm. I try to keep costs low. My vision is to help travelers see the world (spend money on experiences not lodging) and maybe experience a unique culture along the way. Feel the wild of nature to stimulate your creativity. Also a nice relaxing area to get away. A small chicken coop homes a free range flock. They will wander around your front yard. The farm also houses quail, bee hives, ducks, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. Ask if you want to meet them. The space RURAL I am returning old farmland to nature. Enjoy wildflowers from April to October. Birds and deer year around. You are welcome to join farm activities if I am around, just ask if curious! PURPOSE I work full time, but I love travel. This space is designed to help a traveler for a reasonable cost. I also love sustainability and sharing a little piece of wilderness in a safe spot. MUSEUM I try to upcycle and reuse as much as possible. So, I'm an artist creating many unique pieces which fill your cottage. Its a bit of a museum in itself. All the money made off this cottage is donated to help homeless people. Appliances are sometimes missing because I donate them to a person just getting a new place. I'm sorry for the constant construction for a good cause. SLEEPING DETAILS This house contains 1 bed in each room. There is floor space for more, let's discuss if you need extra. I charge $10/person over two because I will need to install the extra air mattress and linens. Guest access Quiet neighborhood in a cul-de-sac. The lane is gravel. Free parking on premise, please let me know if you are bringing multiple cars so I can make space. Park in the grass parallel to the lane. Its a short walk through grass to your doorstep! Other things to note There is NO WIFI. Please text me after you arrive for faster response time. There is NO AC except a single weak window unit for the common space. The carpets and linens are clean but stained. Someday, I'd like to replace but I do not want to raise your costs. I try to keep costs lost. I need time to refresh linens and reset the space. You can reserve two nights to avoid the fees or precoorindate.
