Set in the Kent countryside, just 10 minutes from Canterbury. An ideal peaceful getaway, lovely walks and near to the coast. All rooms, twins and king size doubles have large windows with beautiful views of either the surrounding fields or our lake and grounds, some with double aspect and shutters. All have ensuite facilities (walk in showers) TOR Spa Retreat is separate: Call Tor Spa directly to arrange hourly, half or full day passes & packages to use the Spa Facilities The space TOR Spa is an unique getaway - the atmosphere here is tranquil, and calm and it is a great place to unwind and rejuvenate. Set back in its own grounds, with a beautiful garden and a lake it is a special oasis in the middle of the Kent countryside. With the additional option of adding treatments and Spa Time to use our super-heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and relaxation lounges it is a place to completely re-charge and escape from reality. Treatments are based on traditional Ayurvedic techniques and our four Indian Therapists have over 50 years of experience between them. From facials, foot and hand massages to full body treatments, including four handed treatments with two therapists - if you have never had a specific Ayurvedic treatment Tor Spa can offer this for you from as little as £15.00. We respectfully ask everyone to be mindful of other guests as this is a retreat. Access to Wifi. There are no televisions or phones in the rooms. Pets and children under the age of 14 are not permitted Please inform us if you have any disabilities as some of the rooms have steps Guest access With only six rooms on the premises you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxing break. The accommodation is separate to Tor spa itself and are positioned independently of the rest of the facilities, although the gardens and car park are accessible. Access to the Spa Facilities can be arranged buy purchasing hourly, half/full day passes and packages. The facilities in the spa include relaxation lounges, a beautiful super heated swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Healthy home-cooked vegetarian and vegan lunches are available if booked with a spa day package. Dietary requirements catered for. Other things to note Ickham is a small village with a pub within walking distance, but there is no local shop. A post-office and shop can be found nearby in the village of Littlebourne and there is a shop, bakers, coffee shop, bank, and two more pubs in nearby Wingham.
