Welcome to the Magish-Inn! This quaint studio carriage home is located above our garage, off the back lane. Built new in 2018, it is bright, cheery, clean & functional! The decor is based on historic magicians, vintage props & old artwork. Think Houdini - and you’re on the right track! Amenities are within a 10 min. walk, with everything else just a 5 min. drive - groceries, restaurants, theatre etc! Msg us if your request is outside our parameters - we’ll do our best to accommodate you. The space The space is one large studio apartment - 565 square feet - located up a flight of stairs. It has one queen size bed, with an optional double pull out sofa bed! So it can sleep 4 if needed! Along with seating from the sofa, there is a kitchen table with two chairs. Plus a desk and chair to do any work needed. 55 inch TV and free internet with wifi are provided. Numerous USB chargers and plug ins are located around the space. The kitchen has a stove top, small fridge w/ freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine, and stocked with dishes and necessities. A large 3 piece bathroom (shower - no tub), and an apartment sized stacker washer/dryer are included. A heat pump and AC are included as well (please avoid using the baseboard heaters, if possible). Guest access Guests can use the unit itself as well as the parking stall located right by the door. We have recently purchased an electric car, and require the driveway for charging. Feel free to use the driveway for loading & unloading, and then please take advantage of the street parking. Should there be no street parking available, we will ensure parking is made available for you. The back yard is available to sit and relax in with a large fire pit table to keep warm on the cool nights. Other things to note Narrow stairs to the unit. Hot tub not included for use. Free street parking. Local park located in the neighbourhood. While we state ‘no pets’ we do make exceptions for small dogs (as we are small dog owners ourselves) - so please inquire before booking if you would like to see about an exception.
