A private bedroom for one person only in a three bedroom apartment located in Chicago's Marshall Square/Pilsen/Douglas Park neighborhood. Perfect for clinical rotations at St. Anthony's (around the corner), Mt. Sinai or in the Illinois Medical District. Please contact me before making a booking request. The space The apartment was completely renovated within the last few years and is located on the second floor of a four story century old vintage brick building, locally known as a four flat. Redone in the style of a "soft loft" the unit has 10 foot ceilings, spiral duct work, newly refinished hardwood maple floors and an exposed brick wall in the kitchen. This bedroom is one of three in the apartment and has a extra long twin bed, a desk, a closet and additional storage in a small dresser. The apartment is shared- at a maximum - with two others. Each guest has their own bedroom. Each bedroom door has a keyed lock. The bedrooms are small but the apartment is large, open and bright. The storage in the bedroom is not cluttered with other people's belongings. It's empty and entirely available for your use. Guest access Guests have full access to the apartment living room, the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is fully furnished with all new appliances (range, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher) pots, pans, dishes, eating utensils, rice cooker and electric kettle. During your stay I am always available, either at the building or can be reached by text, email or phone. Other things to note For medical students completing a clinical rotation: St. Anthony's Hospital is around the corner, Mt. Sinai Hospital is six blocks away, and the Illinois Medical District (Rush, University of Illinois, Stroger and Jesse Brown Hospitals) are just 4 stops away (8 minutes) on the Pink line El .
