Central Haven: a cosy quirky nest

Our maisonette is a light filled and colourful, quirky home in central Bristol. We are a street away from Stokes Croft with all of it's vibrant cafes and bars...but being at the end of our street, it's quiet too! We also have a resident cat called Superman. He is very friendly and independent. He has an automatic feeder so you don’t need to do anything other than stroke him. The space Some of our house is a work in progress (like the stairs, which are currently being painted) but everything works and it has bags of warmth and charm. This is our home and we live here full time. We rent it out when we have weekend plans / half terms / holidays etc. The place is full of our things, they are precious to us and we ask that guests are respectful of that. You will have the basics at your finger tips; sugar in the sugar bowl, salt pepper, cooking oil which you are welcome to use. The fridge might have some of our food in it, but we will make sure there is space for yours. The rental very much operates on the basis of trust and we want to welcome you on the basis that you will make yourself at home and enjoy our space and that we will find everything as we have left it on our return. This is a family home and absolutely not a party house. We have a neighbour below us in the basement flat and we need to feel sure that they will not be disturbed. It is ideal for families and the single room is a child's cabin bed, so you will need to be agile to climb into it. It can accomodate an adult comfortably and has a decent mattress. I am happy to provide bedding for floor sleeping children if you need that. Guest access The property covers two floors with stairs to access two bedrooms and bathroom. There is a BBQ in the garden that guests are welcome to use and there is a wood burner in the sitting room. Other things to note Parking: There is on street parking on our street which is free over the weekends. I can arrange for an electronic parking permit if you are staying during the week. There might be an extra charge for this depending on length of stay. We are an eco household and try to be conscious of what resourses we are using. It is a pleasure to host like-minded individuals and we welcome being mindful of energy use and a helping hand with separating rubbish.
