The space Explore the 6.7 acres of land complete with ruins & incredible views of Bantry Bay & Garnish & Whiddy Island. Guest access You will have full range of the house and grounds. There is a farmer's right of way on the lane, so you will be visited by sheep from time to time. Please keep this in mind when traveling with a dog. There are wellies in varying sizes provided in the house, however none for small children. If you'd like to explore the property, it is advised to bring those along. Other things to note We have no internet at The White House. Please keep in mind we are a rural location high on the mountain, so cellular data connectivity can be patchy. You should have no trouble checking emails, placing calls/texts, or possibly watching a film on your device, but we do not recommend attempting to place audio calls or Zoom meetings as the speed available does not suit those applications. We head to Casey’s Hotel which is just 4 km away in the village of Glengarriff, or Box of Frogs in Bantry for our high speed internet "fix".
