The warm and welcoming Frantoio apartment of Villa Giarradea is centrally located with respect to the large park of the Villa. Large kitchen and living room with fireplace, overlooking the garden available to guests. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The space Villa Giarradea is a magnificent stately residence from the late 1600s. Completely renovated while maintaining the original external appearance (the villa is protected by the "fine arts"), the property is immersed in the greenery of the Cortona countryside. Villa Giarradea has a large park, spacious independent gardens for each of the three rustic-style apartments. Each accommodation has its own independent entrance, a beautiful fireplace and equipped kitchens. Barbecue and laundry room are at the complete disposal of our guests. The Cocchi family has been cultivating olive groves, vineyards and vegetable gardens for years, from which we obtain natural and genuine products that we love to offer our guests. The large fenced green space allows for the presence of even large animals. The location, slightly detached from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still central between the territories of Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Perugia and Cortona, make it the ideal place both for those seeking maximum tranquility in the midst of nature, and for those who want a starting point to visit the wonders of Tuscany, Umbria and the Val di Chiana. The green hills surrounding the property offer the possibility of wonderful trekking on the paths of the battle of Hannibal, a ridge on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, where magnificent views of Lake Trasimeno on one side (Umbria) mingle with breathtaking views of the Val di Chiana (Tuscany) on the other. Guest access Each of our guests will be left a copy of the entrance key in order to make them free from any reception hours and to be able to come and go when they want. Other things to note During the cold period, the additional cost of gas for heating may be requested separately. It is recommended to ask in advance if this is applied for the desired stay.
