Casetta del Gelso

The Casetta del Gelso is located in a small, recently renovated village, with stone houses and a century-old mulberry tree, and is an ideal place to visit the nearby cities of art and walk paths and also mountain bike. The house is located in Clastra in a small hamlet 384 m above sea level, in the beautiful setting of the Natisone valleys, 10 km from the historic town of Cividale del Friuli, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and 20 km from Udine. The space The Casetta del Gelso is structured on 3 floors. Ground floor: living room, open-plan kitchen and separate toilet. First floor: two bedrooms, one double and the other with 3 single beds and a bathroom with shower. Basement: tavern with a cozy reading corner. A cot and high chair are available upon request. Guest access The house is easily accessible from the main road. Arriving at the Clastra sign, turn at the first junction on the right, where there is a crucifix with a stone monument next to it. After 10 meters you will find the private entrance on the left with the sign: Casetta del Gelso. You will find a large private courtyard for parking, a courtyard that in summer becomes a space full of shade where you can put the table for breakfast and children can play in peace. From this courtyard you can access the tavern where you will find comfortable wicker armchairs and a working fireplace.
