Description
Dating from 1881, this charming 4 bedroomed family house (3 guest bedrooms) was built as the School Master's house. It has been finished to a high standard and can easily sleep 6 guests. Situated in the popular residential village of Bethel, conveniently located for the centres of Caernarfon and Bangor, the property is situated along the B4366 road on the cusp of the Snowdonia National Park and en route to the beautiful Llyn Peninsula. The space Ty'r Ysgol (translates to School House) is as the name suggests, a former School Master's house and offers a welcoming atmosphere. It is situated just 3 miles from the historic Castle town of Caernarfon, 5 miles from the University City of Bangor and right on the edge of Snowdonia which just has more and more to offer, not only its obvious beauty but more recently also has become an area for adventure including Surf Snowdonia surf centre, Bounce Below for trampolining, ZipWorld, Go Below, Greenwood Forest Park and many other attractions. Guest access There are 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are available for guests. These comprise of 2 spacious doubles and the third room can be either single, twin or double depending on individual needs. All communal areas will be accessible. Please note that one downstairs lounge is private and not accessible to guests. During your stay Whilst I respect guests' privacy, I will of course meet and greet whenever possible and will be available if needed. Guests will also be greeted by Mossy our super friendly family cat 😻. Other things to note There is WiFi available at the property. We have a key safe for guests who prefer a more flexible check-in.
