The space The Three Guineas Hut “Inspired by Virginia Woolf's words, ‘arrange whatever pieces come your way,’ this cabin was built and styled with found treasures, art, and heartfelt details. It is a living mosaic—a peaceful sanctuary where every corner tells a story.” Space & Atmosphere: Measuring 4x4 meters, this cabin is a cozy, intimate nest—perfect for couples or solo travelers. Crafted entirely in this creative spirit, every single corner has been thoughtfully designed by me, ensuring that each found piece and detail has found its perfect place. A quick, honest note: Please keep in mind that the cabin is not insulated, so it can get warm on sunny summer days. A fan is provided to keep you comfortable, but most of our guests love to cool off in the afternoons anyway by taking a dip in the beautiful, azure waters of nearby Lake Faak. Outdoor Living: Your private veranda serves as a peaceful retreat. It’s the perfect spot to escape the midday heat, curl up with a good book, listen to your favorite music, or simply daydream while surrounded by the lush green garden. Stay Connected: Whether you want to share your creative impressions and vacation photos or get a little work done—high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout all areas of the property. Shared Facilities (just a few steps away): The fully equipped vintage kitchen (in the converted garage) and the modern bathroom (located in the historic vaulted cellar), shared with a maximum of 4 other guests. Parking: A dedicated private parking space is located right in front of the hut for your convenience. Hassle-Free Check-in: Enjoy a flexible and stress-free arrival. The hut will be unlocked for you, and you will find the key waiting for you inside. During your stay We want you to feel right at home. Either I or a member of my family is usually nearby and happy to help with anything you need—whether it’s a question about the hut or looking for local insider tips. We are always here for you, while fully respecting your privacy. Other things to note The Shared Experience While the hut itself is your private sanctuary, we embrace a boutique, communal glamping spirit for our facilities. The kitchen and bathroom are shared spaces located just a few steps from your hut, hosting a maximum of only 4 other guests. The kitchen, housed in a charmingly converted old garage, is a unique vintage spot perfect for preparing meals and swapping stories with fellow travelers. For your comfort, the bathroom is located in a historic vaulted cellar, beautifully restored into a modern oasis with a shower, toilet, and washing machine. This setup offers the perfect blend of social, community vibes and your own quiet corner of the garden to retreat to.
