Traditional Keralan wooden cottage in Trivandrum

Traditional 140 year old wooden cabin from my home town we assembled on top of our modern house in Trivandrum. It has a separate entrance. It’s a quiet place about 5 kilometers from the city centre (40 rupee by riksja). Our home is situated on a small hill surrounded by palm trees, close to the Hindu Sree Hanuman Swamy Temple. Our neighborhood has a very friendly and nice mix of people, residential and social homes. There is an temple and ashram at the end of our road and a karate school nearby. The space The wooden house is originally from Kottayam and consists of a bedroom, bathroom with hot water, small pantry with hot water boiler for making tea and a patio with a separate sundeck with a view. The two beds can be used as one king size bed or as two individual beds. There are two ceiling ventilators in the house. There is a patio with ceiling fan and sundeck with a view attached for your private use. Wifi and hot water are provided. Guest access The cottage has its own entrance. You can read, work and relax on your private veranda, on your sundeck and sit in our small garden. During your stay Your place is independent of ours. We are happy to welcome you if we are at the home, and are usually available via mobile app for any questions. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are provided. We have dogs that welcome you with an harmless bark.
