Relaxing Homestead Loft in the County

We are fully permitted & legal STA in The County! #St-2020-0282. FREE Sandbanks pass for stays 4+ nights. Bring your friends, or family and enjoy everything the county has to offer at our rural homestead in Demorestville in Prince Edward County! Perfect for those looking to relax in a country setting, away from the hustle and bustle. Only a 27 min drive to Sandbanks Provincial Park (don't forget, you MUST book a reservation to access Sandbanks via Ontario Parks) The space We spent the 3 years building our dream house in Prince Edward County with the help of our family and friends, and we are now ready to share our loft with the Airbnb community! The loft is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children. The loft is just under 1000 sq feet, has 2 bedrooms and a pull out bed (yes, an actual bed!) so everyone can be comfortable and have lots of room inside and out for some relaxing time in the County. We are a short walk to Three Dog Winery, and an easy drive to all the other popular attractions in PEC. We have a playpen/crib for those travelling with littles, along with books and toys for various ages groups. We have a very large organic garden, chickens, rabbits and barn cats. We live in the main house, and will provide you your space, but are always available as needed! Because we live in the main house, we have outdoor security cameras surrounding the property. Guest access The whole loft will be yours and there is lots of parking available on the right hand side of the property, enough for 4 cars. You will also have exclusive access to the pergola, to enjoy a nice glass of wine, watch the sunset, or relax after a nice long bike ride! The backyard is shared with us as that is where the garden is, but you will have use of the fire pit after activating the fire permit. Other things to note We have a Level 2 EV charger. Charging is available overnights only. As this is our homestead, it does require a lot of work so you will see us out and about in the garden, tending to the animals, etc, but we allow you your own space and privacy and will not disturb you while doing so. We are on well water which can be used for drinking as it is sanitized and purified, however it has a distinct taste from municipal water. If you prefer not to have the tap water you will have to bring your own. Please use all the water that you need, but please be mindful not to waste it, especially during dry season. As we are on well water and septic tanks, please do not put oil/cooking grease or feminine products down drains or toilets. We ask that you leave the place in the condition that you arrive in, so please take home any food and drink that you did not finish, and keep the loft tidy when you leave (you do not need to clean it, or make your beds, we just ask that the furniture is moved to the same location, and no dirty dishes are left). Bath towels, pillows and linen are included, but please bring your own beach towels.
