Description

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking. The space Constructed in 1886 and originally used as a barn, The Seamist has a unique layout. The first floor includes the kitchen, living area, and dining table. The second level feels a bit like a loft and features the bedroom and bathroom. Guest access The Seamist is connected to a larger house in which the host resides, but everything is separate, including parking and hot tub access. You will have all the privacy you desire inside The Seamist, as well as a small space outside with a seating area. While the buildings are connected noise is not an issue, no reason to feel the need to be quiet. Other things to note Dogs are welcome with no additional pet fee! Acadia National Park is very dog-friendly, and so is this Airbnb. Air Conditioner is provided June 15th-September 15th.
