New Ing Lodge

A Large farmhouse sleeping 30 in 11 bedrooms. Large garden to the rear with a kids play park, firepit area, sauna and hot tub (for an extra fee of £150). Inside there's a lounge and dining room that can comfortably sit 24 for dinner. We also have a bar which we can stock with a barrel of beer if you wish. The games room has a projector and screen as well as a ping pong table and various games. 7 of the 11 bedrooms are ensuite the other 4 all have their own priavte bathrooms right next door. The space On the ground floor there is a commercial kitchen, bar (can be stocked if needed), lounge and dinning room to seat 24 at a push. Sleeping 30 in 11 rooms looks like this- On the 1st floor there is a twin en suite, family en suite, double en suite, 2 double with private bathrooms. On the 2nd floor there is 1 king size double en suite, 1 triple en suite, 1 family en suite a twin with private bathroom and a 4 bedded dorm with private bathroom. The 3rd floor has 1 triple en suite and games room. Guest access With exclusive use of New Ing, you will be the only guests in the Main house and the garden is for your private use only. We have parking for up to 10 cars on site, a lay-by across the road can be used for any extra vehicles. We also have a play park on site, this however is a shared facility. We do have other guests staying in holiday apartments in the barn next door as well as residential properties close by. This means that we are a perfect venue for get a together with family and friends, but that we are not a 'Party venue' and do not allow loud music or behavior that will disturb our other guests and neighbors. Music at a reasonable background level is of course allowed and the house is equipped with 2 Bose speakers. If you are a Hen or Stag group please get in touch prior to booking and we can discuss your needs - if you are looking for a quiet get away with day time activities we are perfect for you, however if you are looking to party the night away we are not the venue for you unfortunately. Other things to note Located on the North end of Shap village, New Ing Lodge is set back from the once busy A6. We are nestled between the eastern edge of the Lake District, The Westmorland dales and the Eden Valley, a perfect base for exploring.
