The trails that run through the natural park start just a few meters away. It's a perfect place to go for a walk and totally disconnect if that's what you're looking for. But the neighborhood also has an excellent public transport connection to downtown Barcelona. No unexpected surprises. The apartment is comfortable, modern, sunny and faces south. Sunlight enters through the windows from dawn until the afternoon. It is fully equipped to accommodate 3 people and is absolutely ideal for a couple, or for a couple with a baby or a small child. Or even for 3 young people. But it might not be very comfortable for 3 adults, especially for long stays. It has a bedroom with a double bed with a high-density foam mattress (200 cm x 160 cm / 79" x 63"). The room can be completely darkened, and the nights are extremely calm and quiet. You'll only hear the singing of the nocturnal birds. You'll rest better here than in your own bed. There is a sofa bed in the living room, and a 120 cm x 60 cm cot is also available. The terrace will allow you to fully enjoy the views and the mountain breeze. It has a wooden pergola that provides pleasant shade and furniture for eating outside and relaxing. The house is equipped with air conditioning and also with underfloor heating. There is high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV with Netflix and HBO Max, and a Bluetooth-enabled column speaker. The kitchen has everything you could need, with a wide variety of appliances and tableware for 4 people. If you come by car, you will always find a free parking space on the street next to the house's entrance. If you come by public transport, I will give you the best advice on how to get here. When you arrive, you will find the bed made, and everything sparkling clean and prepared with great care. The train that connects La Floresta with Barcelona operates like a metro line and runs very frequently (one train every 3 minutes during peak hours and every 12 minutes at less busy times, such as Sundays and public holidays). It takes you to Plaza Catalunya in just 23 minutes. The path to the train station is downhill and takes 10 minutes on foot. The way back is slightly uphill and takes less than 15 minutes at a leisurely pace. Including the walk and waiting for the train, it will take you 45 minutes to get to the city centre. La Floresta is "zone 1" (the same fare as Barcelona city) and a trip to Barcelona costs just over 1 euro. To travel between La Floresta and Barcelona, or within Barcelona, you can use the public transport passes "T-casual" (single-person, 10 trips and costs €13) or "T-Familiar" (multi-person, 8 trips and costs €11.50). The "Hello Barcelona" card doesn't work here. Other things to note Access to the apartment is made by external, spacious and illuminated stairs. (this staircase can be seen in one of the photos) It is not an apartment prepared for people with reduced mobility or in a wheelchair. The "Tourist Tax" is a state tax of €1.75 per person per night. This tax is not included in the Airbnb fee and must be paid separately at the time of check-in.
