Description
A beautiful barn recently converted. Located close to Greve in Chianti, this tasteful traditional home with private garden and outdoor dining is the perfect Escape to the Chianti for 4-6 people. Set amidst olive trees, the garden overlooks a swimming pool and with panoramic views of Tuscan hills of cypress, olives and vines. Positioned in the centre of the Chianti Region you are ideally situated to explore the splendour of Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, plus many unspoilt ancient villages. The space The barn is in three main areas. The master bedroom suite has a glorious, draped, four-poster double bed and a magnificent Tuscan corner fireplace, with double shuttered doors opening to the garden. There’s plenty of hanging and clothes space in a large double wardrobe. The en suite has a large walk in shower wet area, flushing toilet and washbasin, with space for toiletries. A lockable door leads to the living area. With a shuttered door opening to the garden, the living area has a comfortable double sofa bed, leather chairs and pouffes for relaxing or watching television. We’ll add clothes storage if this is to be used as a bedroom. The kitchen is open plan and is fully equipped for 6 people including an extending breakfast/ dining table and chairs. Complete with full sized oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffee machine, electric kettle and toaster, there should be everything you need but, if not, just ask. The en suite shower room has walk in shower, flushing toilet, washbasin and space for toiletries. The double or twin (just let us know your preference) loggia room has large windows overlooking another loggia and garden area. With its own double wardrobe, chest of drawers and makeup/ dressing table area, it’s an ideal space for a couple or two adults or children. The en suite shower room has a large frosted window and walk in shower, flushing toilet and washbasin with storage for toiletries. The garden and property are secured by fencing and electric gates as there are many wild deer around who will want to munch our plants. If you’re lucky you might spot a Tuscan porcupine or cinghiale (wild boar) on your travels, but our fences keep us safe. A feral community cats visit us for food. Other things to note You can use our swimming pool as our guests at your own risk from 9am-7pm. Appropriate swimwear to be used at all times when using the swimming pool Please remove sun lotion before entering the swimming pool, as it can cause damage to the filters All children using the swimming pool, are to be supervised at all times by an adult.
