Noah and Christine ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More info about the building and our area into central London: There's a history to the building and it has a lot of character - it's a former-ferryman's house built in 1901 - later a pub called the Beehive. It was converted to flats in the 1970s and refurbished just before we moved in, in 2009. There's a really lovely local pub about 20 metres from our flat, and it has an outdoor area for sunny days. It's not a noisy pub, as it's very small (no noise is allowed there after 11pm though we barely hear it in any case, and not at all in the bedrooms. The pub's owners live above the pub and they have young children.). The independent cafes, shops and markets of Stoke Newington and Chatsworth Rd are nearby with excellent independent shops, bars & restaurants. Our favourite is Esters – a brilliant cafe in Stoke Newington which does almost the best coffee in London and has great, ready-made breakfast and lunch. Guest access Access to the whole flat including the patio area. We have a bench on the patio, which unfolds into a table - so you can eat outside with a river view on warm days. Other things to note This is a strictly no smoking household. We asks all guests to register their government ID or passport before coming.
