Description
Cosy, comfortable double room, your own private bathroom with shower over. A down duvet (comforter), feather or hollow fibre pillows, a very comfortable mattress topper, a fleece style Sherpa blanket plus extra wool or cotton blankets. Cosy, fluffy cotton robes. Breakfast included. Off road parking. Or a 7 minute walk to the local train station. Enjoy champagne luxury for lager prices. The space Our seaside themed bedroom is available to discerning guests who appreciate 100% cotton bedding and a feather duvet (a fibre duvet is available upon request) and quality towels. Wooden blinds give a very low level of light if you like to sleep in the dark. Our home is situated in a Predominantly quiet cul-de-sac but is obviously subject to the usual noises of a residential area. You will have your own bathroom with shower above which is 100% for my guests use. There is a lock on the bedroom door to give guests a degree of security if they wish to lock them-self in. Guest access Your bedroom and bathroom are just for your use. You will obviously be sharing the front door, hallway and stairs with me. I’m more than happy for guests to use the kitchen to make themselves a hot drink or cook a light meal. A small breakfast of toast, or eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, or danish pasties, tea, coffee and juice is available. I have a coffee maker so offer cappuccino, espresso, latte, macchiato etc. I’m happy to cater for vegan or vegetarian, being married to a vegetarian make this pretty simple. Please let me in know in good time so I can get vegetarian/vegan options in. If you require a more substantial breakfast there are several options close by that do serve a good value cooked breakfast, including and independent Café and a Wetherspoons. If you’re a lone visitor and don’t wish to go out alone for breakfast, talk to me. I like to finish with breakfast around 9 am but I’m happy to provide a later breakfast if that’s what you need, but please just let me know. If you like to smoke, you are welcome to use the back door to access the garden. I don’t mind popping an occasional wash load on if guests are staying for a week or longer. But the washing machine is not intended for my guests use. Just give me the washing and I’ll do the rest. Unfortunately due to guests abusing the ‘laundry services’ I now need to charge a nominal fee for laundry. I’m still substantially better value and more convenient than the local launderette and the laundry service on the high street. During your stay Just let me know what you prefer. I can make you breakfast or walk you over to show you the local cafe or pub, both do great breakfasts. I will leave my guests alone unless they indicate that they want to chat, I’m happy to spend time socialising if that’s what you are looking for. I do understand that sometimes it’s ‘lonely on the road’ so to speak. Other things to note Three cats live here. They are quite timid so you probably won’t see them but I like to mention it as some people have allergies or fears and I’d never want any guest to feel uncomfortable in my home. Breakfast is until 9am, unless other arrangements have been implemented prior to guests arrival. I am flexible about breakfast but only if you talk to me. I state check out time as being 10am and check in after 16:00 but I’m very flexible. If you need to be here early or leave later, talk to me. If I have no booking either side then I’m able to accommodate early/late check out/in times.
