Grooms Cottage, Town Farm, Ivinghoe

Grooms is one of seventeen holiday cottages at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. The `Pick Your Own` opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables - this is a five minute drive away. I The space Grooms is one of seventeen serviced properties at Town Farm, on the edge of the Chilterns. We are a working arable farm, with some sheep over the surrounding hills, we are lucky to have views over to Ivinghoe Beacon on one side, and Aylesbury Vale on the other. All the cottages each have their own unique charm, and we also run a campsite during the summer months. Grooms is a two storey property with open plan living room/kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an enclosed garden. The living room has views over the garden and Vale of Aylesbury beyond. The living area has comfortable sofas to seat six, and a T.V. with Freeview. The kitchen area is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. There is a large dining table which comfortably seats six. The three bedrooms consists of one double and two twins. One of the twin bedrooms is on the ground floor. Both twin beds have zip link beds if you prefer to have double beds. The ground floor shower room has a shower enclosure, toilet and basin. Upstairs the bathroom has bath tub with shower over. Heating & hot water is powered by electricity. Please note that rental includes a GBP30 electricity credit allowance per week, any extra electricity credit is charged as required. We do not offer refunds for unused credit. Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property. A communal E.V. charger is available on the farm but electric vehicles must not be connected directly to the property.​ The property has access to the farm’s communal tennis court, games room and play areas. Please see our terms and conditions for details about the damage deposit system. Guest access The property is self contained, and located on Town Farm. You are welcome to use the facilities on Town Farm, which has a play area and tennis court, as well as local footpaths. There is also a footpath through the fields to the local pub, post office and tea room in Ivinghoe.
