◈ Iconic Cube House in the Heart of Rotterdam! ◈

Welcome to one of the most unique places in Rotterdam! Designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom, this residential complex consists of literal cubes tilted at a 45-degree angle. The result is buildings that look, feel, and behave unlike anything else in the world. Live like a local in the heart of Rotterdam. The cube houses were designed by Dutch architect and artist Piet Blom in the mid-1970s. The entire cube house site is actually built as part of a pedestrian bridge that crosses a road. In fact, the original inspiration for the idea came from the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy. Architect Piet Blom’s idea was to create a structure resembling a forest, where each cube would represent a tree and, together, they would resemble a forest. ********************************************************************************************* My Cube has three levels. On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious living room with a TV, a fully equipped semi-open kitchen, and a restroom. The second floor of the Cube has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom features a comfortable, large bed, and the second bedroom has two separate single beds (which can also be pushed together). Both bedrooms offer plenty of space to hang your clothes. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with a shower and two separate sinks for your comfort. The top floor features a comfortable sofa bed and a one-of-a-kind 360-degree view! An air mattress is available for an additional guest. The Cube House is also an excellent base for trips to Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft, The Hague, Utrecht... Blaak Station is just a stone’s throw away. At the Cube, you’ll also find a custom-made city guide to Rotterdam, which includes all the hidden gems that locals love to visit, so you can enjoy Rotterdam to the fullest and save some space in your luggage! There are various other guides, brochures, and information about the city and the Netherlands to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Fast & free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire house. Guest access As my guest, you’ll have exclusive access to all areas of the Cube House. Please keep in mind that the apartment is not very suitable for very young children. The Cube House is equipped with a keyless locker, so we won’t meet upon your arrival. It’s a very convenient solution for both guests and the homeowner.
