Set in well-tended communal gardens, the lodge has one parking space (unallocated) opposite plus additional parking available on a first come basis. We understand how hard it is to leave those canine friends behind when grabbing short breaks away in the country and so we are pleased to welcome you with your pet. The lodge is perfectly located for dog owners with plenty of pathways and open countryside right on the doorstep. The Cotswolds and Waterpark offer a very dog friendly environment. It is the ideal place for enjoying quality time with all the family without having to leave your pet at home. Please note that the lodge is semi-detached and, therefore, would not be suitable if it is likely that your dog’s barking may disturb the neighbours. Should this become a problem during your stay we do have to reserve the right to ask you to remove your dog for the remainder of your stay. Please also be aware that dogs are strictly not permitted upstairs. If your pet needs to be with you at night I am afraid our lodge will not be suitable for you to book. The lodge provides a secure deck area to keep your pet safe; a stair gate which must be kept closed at all times and an outside tap/hose to clean off after those great walks. Our lodge is furnished to a high standard and our primary aim is to provide good quality, comfortable accommodation for all of our guests. In order to achieve this we ask any guests bringing dogs to use the dog throws provided to protect the furnishings in the lounge area. We also ask that you avoid leaving your dog in the lodge alone unless using a dog cage and you are confident the dog will remain quiet and settled. Guest access We hope you will make full use of the whole property including a wonderful private south facing deck just a few feet from the lakeside where you can relax, fish and watch the waterskiing whilst enjoying a bbq or just chill out and enjoy the wildlife and views. At the Lakeside Brasserie there is a pay as you go gym a few minutes' walk away with great views over the lake as well as the water sport centre, bar and informal indoor and outdoor dining. Other things to note Minimum stay is 2 nights but may be more depending on the time of year. Please check with us before booking if you would like to bring more than one pet. Changeover days are flexible subject to availability. Arrival time is after 4.00pm and departure time by 11.00am (unless agreed in advance with the owner). Upon booking guests agree to a £350 security deposit with each booking. This is only payable after your stay in the unlikely event of damage caused during your stay. Please note there are 4 steps up to the lodge entrance at the front and likewise to the deck at the back plus stairs inside to the first floor. These may present difficulties for guests with limited mobility. The smoke detectors operate on sound only and those guests with serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm and could be at risk. Please note the lake’s edge is unfenced and is very close to the lodge. Whilst the deck is secure, young children must be supervised at all times beyond the deck to ensure they remain safe. Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance before booking.
